Mission : To serve as the hub of learning and to act as the gateway of knowledge and invention that exists in print and digital formats to support institutional vision.

Vision :- Improving quality library information system and service to support teaching, research, academic and management programme and providing and nurturing knowledge and aids in learning and teaching activities.

A. Availability of relevant learning resources including e-resources and Digital Library

The library acts as a key resource and learning center of the institute. It is situated in the center and on the 2^ndfloor of main admin building of institute. The library has a very good collection of reference books, text books, journals, magazines, CD’s. The library has total 4638 books and subscribes 12 journals/magazines. SOUL 2.0 software is used for the management of library.

The library is providing reading room facility with seating capacity of 50 students. Reference Section is also providing with seating capacity of 10 students. Both reading room and reference section facility is providing with issue of text book as well as reference books to students and staff members. The library has issued two library ticket to students and the time duration for renewal or return is 15 days. The library is also providing an internet facility with 10 no. of computers that students can access for their study purpose. The library has 384 project reports. Any students can easily access these reports as per their need. Also the library has 500 CD’s of books and magazine.  All the students are allowed to use the library and library resources from the first day of their academic term with special provision without a library ticket or identity card. The library has also provided these facilities to our alumni students who has required.

The institute is a member of National Digital Library and staff members are registered in NDL.  Students are also informed to register in National Digital Library.

1. Accessibility to students.

• The library has given open access service for students as well as staff within 8.00 am to 2.30 pm.
• The library has a separate reading room, reference reading section, newspaper reading space.
• The library has a computer lab with internet facility, so students can easily access it for their study purpose.
• The library has a books issue return facility.
• Students can access reading material as well as journals, magazines, project reports etc.
• User Orientation programme has been conducted for the newly admitted students.
