A.G.BOBAT BOOK BANK SCHEME
A.Y, Dadabhai Technical Institute is committed to give quality technical education and also to participate in the progress of the society and nation by helping needy students. With this effort the institute has started a Book Bank as on 5th February, 2015 under library.
The main aim of book bank is to help needy students in their education by giving books sets of their respective branch. Initially the book bank started in second semester by giving 154 sets to students. The sets are given for whole semester and students have to return the same after the completion of semester. Nominal charge has been taken from the students. Students get their sets as their required language. i. e. English, Gujarati.
Within six month the institute has also apply book bank scheme in all respective branch with some eligibility criteria. Most of our studentsare benefitted from this scheme. And from 2016 a new effort done by the institute that all students who are admitted in our institute can take advantage of the book bank scheme in first semester and second semester as per their requirement. Initially 334 no. of students from all branch get the advantage of this scheme, after that the volumes of the books has been increased from 334 sets to 596 sets.
With successful years of Book bank scheme Institute/management has also take decision to give advantage of library to our alumni students by providing 3 books for 3 months who take admission in higher studies.
